Laughing Raven is an artist collaborative started by Scott Brown and Kevin Gregg dedicated to producing art from a variety of disciplines. Currently we are only a few members strong and are primarily producing short films, but we plan to move into producing (in some form) literature, photography, fine arts, music et. all.

The Intermission Man makes the Quarter Finals at OurStage!
Laughing Raven Productions is very proud and excited to announce that our film The Intermission Man has made the quarter finals at OurStage.com. It entered in 8th place and so far has stayed there after more than doubling its view count! If anyone gets a chance, visit the site - www.ourstage.com - and vote for us. Just choose the Short Film channel and click on the Judge link. The finalists will be announced in a few days and we'll keep everyone up to date on its status. Again, thanks to all of you! Without your support and love, we wouldn't be here.

The Intermission Man Festival Version
We've retooled our short film 'The Intermission Man' with some changes that we think make it better for the festival scene. BTW - It is screening along with our good friend Russ Emanuel's first feature film 'PJ' (Scott produced the 'behind the scenes' featurette for the DVD release.) Even more reason to come and hang at the fest with us!

New life for The Intermission Man
Not only is our short film 'The Intermission Man' climbing the rankings at Ourstage.com, but we just found out that it will be screening at this years Action on Film International Film Festival. And here we thought that it was happily retired. More updates to come as we watch the little film that could!

Lucky 13 for Shakespeare's Dead
Shakespeare's Dead placed 13th out of a total of 307 short films at OurStage.com for the month of July. Thanks to all who viewed the film and voted. Keep checking in for more updates on SD as well as other projects we're currently working on. Scott

Online fests
Just a quick reminder that LRP's 'Shakespeare's Dead' is now listed at both OurStage.com and Si-Mi.com. Be sure to visit both sites soon (there are deadlines for both ) and vote/judge for SD. In particular, the Si-Mi.com site will give us a chance to screen at this years HollyShorts festival. It continues to screen, along with 'The Intermission Man', at Triggerstreet.com. Stay tuned for more amazing things to come!

Our New Forum!
After much self deliberation, we decided to change the forum to the native DNN one. What does this mean? You won't have to type 2 different usernames in when visiting both sites, but it also means that all of the old posts are gone unless Scott can genius a way to migrate the data.
